Advance Your Skills

Students of all ages can advance their skills in a wide variety of fine arts.  You do not have to be a member of First Euless to participate!

It's our desire to provide the best instruction and are dedicated to creating an atmosphere where students can learn arts, grow spiritually and use their talents in churches, schools, and in our community.  

ENROLLMENT AND INSTRUCTION

The next semester starts September 5.

Private lessons will be offered in the following:

  • Voice, Piano, Guitar, Trumpet, Saxophone, Drums/Percussion, Violin, Flute, Trombone, Tuba, and Cello.

  • *Our percussion teacher is offering some complimentary drum lessons. If interested, please contact Jana Harwell at 817.540.7480.

Lessons are offered on a weekly basis in 30-minute increments. 

Private lessons will be scheduled with the instructor. Please contact Jana Harwell  at  for available times. 

 

Classes will be offered in the following subjects:

  • Theatre | Room 125 | Tuesdays | 5-6 pm *Class will begin October 3.
  • Digital Photography | Room 133 | Thursdays | 5-6 pm | Students can bring a smartphone or digital camera for photography
  • Art  | Multiple Classes
    • Tuesdays 3:30 pm | Rm 114 Chapel Bldg. | (beginner class) | $25 per month
    • Thursdays 2:00 pm | Room 114 | Chapel Bldg. | (all adult levels) | $25 per month
    • Thursdays 3:30 pm | Rm 114 | Chapel Bldg. | (upper level class) | $35 per month

 

REGISTRATION AND TUITION

Registration Fee

$40.00 fee per student | $10.00 per sibling after the initial $40.00 is paid.

$125.00 per month | averages per month total of 4 lessons at 30 minutes each

Tuition For Classes

$25.00 per month per student per class. | Classes will meet once a week for an hour.

  • The registration fee and the first month’s tuition are required at registration.

To begin the enrollment process, new students must contact the director, complete a registration form and enrollment agreement and submit them with the first month's tuition.  When a student is enrolled, he/she is committing to an entire semester of study.

A late fee of $15.00 will be charged if payment is made after the 5th of the Month.

LESSONS AND SCHEDULING

All academy lessons are taught at First Euless. During the enrollment process, each student will be assigned an instructor.  The student/parent will be contacted to confirm a convenient lesson. Once a lesson time is established, it is important that the student continues through the semester with that same time.  

Sept. 5—Semester Begins

October 9—School Holiday (academy teachers have the option to teach on this day)

November 20-24—Thanksgiving Holidays (academy will be open Monday and Tuesday of this week)

December 15— End of Semester

December 16— Recital 2:00 p.m.

January 8— Spring Semester Begins

January 15—School holiday (MLK Jr. Day) optional teaching day for academy

March 12-16—Spring Break (no lessons this week unless you want to use it for makeup lessons)

March 30—Good Friday (academy will be closed)

April 26—Spring Showcase 7:00 p.m. at First Euless

April 27—Semester Ends

May 7-July 27—Summer semester
